Wellness Centre
This wellness centre as part of the larger 14 hectare Half Moon Bay Development services the residents of Moon Bay and neighbouring Huangshan City, China.
A 5 level spa, specialized treatment rooms, yoga centre, gymnasium, and swimming pools make up this substantial complex.
The sub-terranean basement level complex required natural light, so our design focused on the making the structural components featured light wells form above.
We focused on keeping the forms fluid in nature to reflect the water elements and the surrounding nature reserve.
Soft undulation of curves add to the feeling of relaxation and are made with natural materials of the region made for a truly localised experience indigenous to this area.
