With an ever-increasing demand in China for hotel accommodation in historic tourist locations, Bonham was engaged to design these mountain suites for a large hotel chain.
The design was to be warm and moody, incorporating the natural earthy elements, hues, tones and textures to create an ambient yet elegant hotel retreat used mostly in the winter skiing months.
The 5-star resort, currently in design and pre-construction stages, is set to become a highlight to the region. The suites are split between a generous living space, a bar/kitchenette, bedroom, and large bathing room with views over the mountains.
Innovative cabinetry designs create an entertainment viewing platform and working area for travelers when required.
